Extensive renovation and new construction of animal housing in Klarenbeek

For Dierenbescherming Nederland, Otten Pet Cages has realized a multifaceted project in Klarenbeek. At this location we have worked on the renewal and expansion of different types of animal housing, including dog kennels, rabbit runs, aviaries and cat units. The result is a modern and well thought-out shelter where safety, tranquility and functionality are central.

An important part of the project was the visibility fencing around the dog kennels. Anthracite-colored HPL panels were used for this purpose, which are not only durable but also contribute to a peaceful environment for the animals. In addition, the roofs of the dog kennels were completely redone, making the enclosure weatherproof and more comfortable for the animals.

Multi-piece enclosures for cats and rabbits

In addition to the dog enclosures, several enclosures for cats and rabbits are also posted. For example, multi-part intake units suitable for both cats and rabbits were built. These animal enclosures were designed with hygiene, efficiency and animal welfare in mind. By using low-maintenance materials such as aluminum, HPL and galvanized fencing, the stays are sturdy and easy to keep clean.

For rabbits, extra attention has been paid to providing adequate exercise space. Otten Pet Cages has installed several runs, including large combined rabbit/chicken runs, so that the animals have enough space to scavenge and exhibit their natural behavior. The clever design allows these runs to be easily adapted to the needs of the shelter.

Custom aviaries and terrain solutions

New aviaries have also been installed to house birds. These provide a safe and comfortable habitat where the animals have plenty of room to fly and unwind. The aviaries are constructed of durable fencing and fit seamlessly into the overall picture of the shelter grounds.

Finally, practical solutions such as vision screens and fences have been worked on around the property. These not only promote peace and quiet on the property, but also ensure the safety of the animals.
