Shade and fencing for animals in Zandvoort

A custom solution was realized for an animal shelter location in Zandvoort to protect animals from sun and wind. The location, located near the Zandvoort race track, is often exposed to strong weather conditions. To ensure a comfortable living environment, four removable and adjustable shade sails were installed that provide shelter for the animals on hot days and can be easily adjusted to the conditions.

Sustainable and flexible solution

The shade sails are made of strong, breathable mesh material that provides protection from heat and UV rays while maintaining adequate ventilation. The modular design allows the tarps to be quickly adjusted or removed, offering flexibility in changing weather conditions.

Increased comfort through smart materials

The mesh used prevents overheating and provides fresh air circulation in animal enclosures. The material is lightweight, easy to maintain and can withstand intensive outdoor use - ideal for the challenging environment in Zandvoort.

New fencing between animal enclosures

In addition, new fencing was installed between the rabbit and dog kennels. This fencing is made entirely of hot-dip galvanized steel, ensuring long life and high weather resistance.

The frame consists of a 25x25 mm steel box section with Ø16 mm bars and a bar spacing of approximately 50 mm. The panels rest on 5 cm feet for extra stability and a neat finish. Two doors with day and night locks ensure safe access and optimal separation between the stays.
