New Fencing and Recording Pens for FKK Animal Rescue

Otten Pet Cages designed a combination of fencing and intake cages for Bonaire FKK Animal Rescue. FKK shelters approximately 80 dogs, and given the conditions on the island, it was essential to provide a safe and efficient solution for sheltering the animals. The dogs reside in kennels, while partitions for play areas provide an organized space. In addition, special shelters were created for puppies, keeping them separated from the larger dogs.

Safety and Sustainability in Challenging Conditions

The fencing and intake pens are made of anodized aluminum and stainless steel mesh, materials that can withstand the salty sea air that characterizes the island. This combination provides the necessary durability and safety for both animals and caretakers. It provides a sturdy fence that is at the same time flexible and easy to maintain.

Better Care for Animals in Difficult Environments

FKK operates with limited resources, and the island is prone to flooding, making the work more difficult. The feeding sets provided by Otten Pet Cages ensure that the animals have constant access to water, without the risk of it falling over. These additional facilities provide better care for the animals, even in the most difficult conditions.
