Innovative Animal Housing for Cats and Dogs
In Delitzsch, East Germany, Otten Pet Cages has realized a special project for the Animal Protection Society Germany. This project includes several customized animal shelters designed to optimize the welfare of both cats and dogs. The animal enclosures are fully adapted to the needs of the shelter, with special features such as wall penetrations and floor heating.
Flexible and Adaptable Cat Enclosures
Delitzsch cat enclosures are designed with flexibility and comfort in mind. Three sets of 6-piece cat enclosures feature wall penetrations, allowing the units to be easily linked. This increases the space available for the cats and allows the number of stays to be adjusted as desired. Each enclosure is also equipped with floor heating, so the cats stay in a comfortable environment all year round. In addition, outlets and clipboards have been installed for patient records, making the staff's work easier.
Secure Dog Playgrounds and Catio
In addition to the cat enclosures, dog enclosures have also been created in Delitzsch. The dog play areas are equipped with overclimb protection so that the dogs can play safely without leaving the fence. These playing fields provide ample space for the dogs to let off steam. The indoor catio is made of aluminum, which provides a durable and safe environment for the cats.
Sustainable and Safe Materials
The animal enclosures in Delitzsch are made of high-quality materials such as HPL, aluminum and fencing. HPL is used for the walls of the enclosures, providing a sturdy and durable construction. Aluminum is used for the cat runs and dog kennels, contributing to the lightweight and robust quality of the enclosures. These materials are not only sturdy, but also easy to maintain and clean, contributing to a hygienic environment for the animals.
A Multi-day Project for Optimal Results
This project was special because of its complexity and scope. Otten Pet Cages carried out this multi-day project with a team of two, staying overnight in the region to get the job done in one go. The result is an efficient and well-functioning animal shelter, where the animals are optimally cared for.
