Otten Pet Cages continues under new name
After a period of growth within our family business, a new chapter has begun. After more than 50 years, Otten Pet Cages has changed its name.
Behind the scenes there have been gradual changes in recent years. Activities and responsibilities have increasingly shifted to the new generation. That change brought with it new energy and fresh wind. Therefore, we have chosen a company name that fits the image of today - and where we want to go! Otten Pet Cages will therefore continue as Petfort as of October 1, 2025. A name that suits our international field of activity and is easy to understand in Dutch.
The name speaks for itself - 'fort', a safe and trusted place where you can withdraw - exactly what we want to offer to all pets.

We are a family business 100% committed to animal welfare as well as satisfied customers. We have been a trusted address for professional and private customers for almost 50 years. For some organizations we are even preferred suppliers, such as the Dutch and German Animal Protection Foundation. For years we have been the preferred supplier of cat runs, dog kennels and other accommodation for all affiliated animal shelters, pensions and shelters in the Netherlands and Germany. Veterinarians also appreciate our customized work in animal welfare. For them, for example, we make intake enclosures or quarantine enclosures with various additional options. Our stays are fully glued, so they are not only waterproof but also very easy to keep clean. Would you like to know more about us?
