We work with aluminum, galvanized steel, or wood, depending on your situation. Aluminum for a light and sleek look, galvanized steel for maximum sturdiness, and wood for a warmer feel. We’ll discuss which combination works best during our consultation.

Do you have a large or unique dog, an unconventional space, or a specific request? Having a dog kennel custom-built by Petfort begins with a personal consultation and, where possible, a site visit to your home. You will then receive a drawing detailing the materials, dimensions, and price. Once you approve the design, we’ll build and install it in the Netherlands, Belgium, or Germany.

What is a dog kennel?
A dog kennel is an enclosed space where your dog can safely rest, sleep, or spend the day. A kennel can be freestanding in the yard, built against the house, or placed indoors. At Petfort, we custom-build dog kennels in all sizes, from compact indoor kennels to spacious outdoor kennels with a covered area and exercise space.
How big should a dog kennel be?
The minimum size depends on the breed and the amount of time your dog spends in the kennel. General guideline: the dog must be able to stand, turn around, and lie stretched out without touching the sides. For permanent outdoor housing, we generally recommend more space plus a covered area with a resting spot. During the consultation, we’ll work together to determine the right dimensions for your dog.
Can there be an indoor section?
Yes. A covered area with a sheltered resting spot is virtually standard for outdoor kennels, and we construct it using the same materials as the rest of the kennel. We also install partition walls, sliding doors, cat flaps, or an adjoining cat enclosure leading to the yard.
What regions do you deliver to?
We deliver and install throughout the Benelux and Germany. For other countries in Europe, we can deliver upon request without installation.
