The ultimate freedom for your cat: a cat flap expertly mounted in the wall
Want to give your cat the ultimate freedom to walk independently outside or to another area, but don't want or can't fit a hatch in your door? Then an in-wall cat flap is the perfect solution. Creating a wall flap requires real craftsmanship
We offer a complete service: from supplying the right hatch to a fully finished, insulated tunnel and professional on-site assembly
Our standard: The Cat Mate 221
For the wall passage we use the Cat Mate 221 cat flap as standard
-
Roomy size: This hatch is specially designed and ideally suited for large cats
. -
4-position locking: You always retain maximum control
. You set the hatch in a snap to: inward only, outward only, open in both directions, or completely closed for the night . -
Rattle-free and draft-proof: The hatch seals perfectly, keeping the inclement wind out and preventing the hatch from rattling when your cat walks through.
Customization in color and functionality
Every home and interior is different. Because customization is in our DNA, we like to think along with your specific situation
Our approach: Measuring is knowing
Creating an opening in a load-bearing exterior wall is precision work. To ensure safe construction and a perfect finish, we maintain a minimum wall thickness of 40 cm.
This is how our technicians go about their work competently:
1. Accurate measuring and drilling
The cat flap is accurately marked on the inside. We then drill several holes from inside to outside. This ensures that the exact dimensions are visible on both sides of the wall and we are one hundred percent sure that we come out straight.
2. Perforating with dust extraction
The wall is perforated on the inside with a professional stone drill. We work with active dust extraction in this process to minimize nuisance in your home. While we can never eliminate dust formation 100% of the time, we make every effort to leave your space as clean as possible.
3. Manual culling and grinding
After perforation, the opening is manually cut out on both sides and ground tight where necessary. All loose particles and grit are thoroughly removed, leaving a tight, splinter- and rattle-free rectangular opening.
4. Installation of the tunnel section and finishing.
Once the opening is perfectly sized, we place and fix the tunnel section into the wall. On both the inside and outside, we install a high-quality finishing strip around the grommet. This provides a solid, secure and visually very clean finish.
Depending on the type of stone, the work takes only a few hours. After completion, the wall penetration is immediately ready for use!
The benefits of a Petfort wall grommet:
-
Complete care: From drilling the hole and insulating the tunnel to mounting the hatch
. -
Hygienic and durable: The materials are easy to clean and weather resistant
. -
Maximum control: Thanks to the reliable 4-position closure of Cat Mate
. -
Sleek aesthetic: No messy edges, but a tightly tucked away tunnel that looks beautiful in both your interior and exterior walls
.
