New rabbit runs and aviaries for Tierheim Germany

A beautiful project was completed for Tierheim Heidelberg, installing five high-quality runs and aviaries in two days. The result is a modern, safe and animal-friendly facility that is both practical for the caretakers and comfortable for the animals.

Runs for birds and rabbits

A total of three aviaries for birds and a linked cat enclosure for rabbits have been constructed. Each cat enclosure is constructed entirely of black aluminum combined with white HPL walls. This ensures not only a sleek and modern look, but also a durable and low-maintenance construction that can withstand intensive use.

Comfort and functionality

All runs feature bottoms made of PP foam, a material known for its abrasion resistance, hygiene and comfort. It provides a soft surface that is easy to clean while being durable enough to last for years.

To ensure the safety of both animals and caretakers, runs are equipped with access locks. This prevents animals from escaping undetected while entering or leaving the enclosures.

In addition, one of the aviaries features a separate night quarters, allowing the birds to retreat safely at night and get adequate rest.

Efficient placement in a short time

Thanks to a carefully prepared process and an experienced assembly team, the five runs could be installed in just three days. This underlines our commitment to not only deliver quality, but also to work efficiently, with minimal impact on the Tierheim and its daily operations.
